Silicon Dioxide Paint Matting Agent Used For PVC Matte Finish Leather Coatings
Description
This type of matting agent is specially used in leather. It has high efficiency,easy dispersion,good hand feeling and no influence to paint film.
Characteristic
1. The surface of this matting agent is without organic treatment.
2.It is easily dispersed into any leather coatings with a high speed agitator.It takes 15 to 20min to disperse well with 1200r/mm speed. Hegman fineness is 15-25um.
3.GeneraIly speaking,for this matting agent the particle can't be destroyed by excess grinding in the process of dispersion.But if using the ball grinder or triple-rallf mill to disperse with long time, it may possibly reduce the effect and increase the viscosily.
4.Since the particle size of matting agent is less than 5μm and also it’s a porous matter,it sinks very slowly in the leather coating.When the paint film is dry,there is still much stay on the surface and will form slight unevenness.Then it makes the light diffused and the glossiness will be reduced.But it will not influence the smooth of leather surface appearance and the hand feeling of paint film. Using this matting agent will let the paint film have better fullness,anti-scratch, wear-resistance and anti-sediment performance.
