Silica Matting Agent generally used for the Automotive Coatings. Silica gels can influence rheological properties, although other agents are typically preferred for rheological control purposes. With high porosity and strict control of particle size and particle size distribution, It provides a superior matting efficiency, excellent coating appearance and transparency, cost efficient, effective anti-settling agent and easy dispersion, smooth, abrasion resistant films of high surface quality.
Feature
1, Excellent Transparency. The refractive index of silica is comparable to most resin systems.
2, Super Matting Efficiency. The high purity silica and 1.8-2.0 ml/g Pore Volume as well as fine control of particle size and particle size distribution, it makes the paint film higher matting efficiency.
3, Excellent Hand-feeling: These silicas have minimal effect on the mechanical properties, allowing development of smooth films with excellent hand-feel, scratch resistance and stain resistance.
